4-3-3/4-2-3-1 again. I’d say that’s the best line up on merit. Lyons, Ferry, Noss, Wright, Johansson - they’ve done the most to impact when they’ve been on the pitch. I didn’t see much in Watson or Grant unfortunately

Struggling to handle the Danes in the first quarter there. McGuinness looks good again, a season of first team football really standing to him. Rose distribution looks really good. Lyons struggling, was surprised that he got the start over Ebosele. Can't really judge the attacking players, they have had no ball.

Lyons completely lacking the confidence to strike it first time there. Very poor.
Lucky not to be three or four down here. Edited by You Tell Me - 05 Jun 2021 at 5:37pm |

Has definitely been some decent individual performances during the camp.
Worry 1) no obvious striker of any real quality coming through from this group. Worry 2) once again, no attacking (central) midfielder who looks to have that guile and invention we so badly lack.

Like McEntee, maybe a bit at fault for the goal but looks composed on the ball with a decent range of passing

Ferry, Johansson and Gilbert looking good in flashes, need more from Noss and Kayode.

Johanssen looks decent much of the time but a few of his passes have not be accurate.

Very little to be positive about there. 17 year old Dan Rose and McGuinness really the only ones to get pass marks.
Denmark getting loads of joy down both flanks, Ferry again clearly not a left back and leaving a lot of space in behind. Lyons and McEntee have both looked poor to me on the other side. Clearly unable to deal with the Danish press and McEntee has just booted it 40 yards across the field straight out of play a couple of times. Lyons looks ponderous in possession and his first touch has been poor. Coventry looks outclassed in midfield, plenty of lateral passes but nothing else. Noss and Johansson haven't been able to impose themselves at all, they've just been overrun. There have been a few flashes of quality from Gilbert and Wright out wide but Kayode has been dealt with quite easily by the Danes. Technically they are so far superior to us it's scary. I'd like to see Conor Grant come on to see if he can improve the midfield, I would bring Ebosele and Flynn on in the full back positions also. Realistically we have nothing else up front here, the absence of Parrott, Idah, Connolly, Obafemi and Odubeko is clear to see. The Andorra game probably ended any hope of Parrott returning to this level, hopefully Obafemi at least will come back in. You can see why Crawford is so keen to keep some dialogue open with Odubeko.

Coventry has played all the games and he's not looked good in any of them. I fear he's being left behind by others that have gone on loan to play senior football.
Connell should be miles ahead of him in my opinion
