No Daragh Burns in the squad? Think that's a trick missed.

Ferguson looks like a jock from an eighties American teen movie.

The Wing Back selections defy belief Cashin at LB in a back 4 would have been a bit out there but not as big an issue as O'Connor and Wright as wing backs for me.

O'Connor blatantly not a wing back a whiff of Coleman and Stevens against Armenia this.

Connolly with the bit between the teeth, some good penetration by Smallbone. No pun intended.

Great to see Hodge finally involved. Agreed that Lyons & Festy are being done dirty.

Ebosele might be getting slightly pissed off, gone from turning up for the full squad and not getting a look in to turning up for the 21's ....and not getting a look in

Ebosele would have benefitted from another season at Derby more than Knight.

His lack of games this season has probably gone against him.

Festy was playing regularly, & well, in the Champion ship all last season and Crawford still played Wright/O'Connor (both now in their 3rd seasons in League 2) ahead of him. He's right to feel aggrieved (though he handled it poorly in March).

Just 1 appearance for Udinese though. So only 7 minutes of senior football since the 7th of May.

If he was still at Derby now, he'd be playing regularly and it would be difficult not to start him.

It gives Crawford an out. O'Connor and Wright are playing regularly.

Nah. He was out of contract, totally right to leave and try his hand in Serie A.
Would you have said Nathan Collins shouldn't have gone to Burnley just because he wasn't playing in the early part of that season? He played the long game and it worked out across the season.

Festy is doing the same, finger crossed it works.

And again, Crawford ignored him while he was playing regularly in the Championship, so what good would playing in League 1 do for him here?

Collins picked a club that had ageing defenders like Mee. Tarkowski was looking to move on before they were relegated. Burnley is about 90 mins up the road from Stoke. Not a drastic move. Decent chance of playing long term due to the ages and contracts situations of Men, Tarkowski, Bardsley, etc.

Serie A is very different tactically to English football. A new language to learn. Plus, the potential to experience racism. It was an ambitious move... but probably not the best career move. France would have been a better fit. Or even another Championship club. Udinese are playing great football and are top of the league. It's going to be hard to find a way into that team. Pererya is playing on the right of a midfield 5 and has already assisted 5 goals this season.

We didn't win a single game from the 4 games that Ebosele played in at U21 level. Zero goals scored either. So Crawford must associate him as being one of the reasons why. It is what it is. We won 8 games, drew twice and lost twice without him. Every manager has their favourites.

Definitely not a wing back. Running in behind is his strength.

Smallbone has gone to sh*t. LOL Sloppy now. That was a waste of a free kick. He got caught lacking on the ball just before that as well.

Hope we don’t regret not putting one of those early chances away. Israel aren’t great but we’re tapering off a bit towards the end of this first half.

A goal will settle us down. It's vital that we take the lead.

There's always the worry that Israel get lucky with a counter attack.

Hodge looks like he’s going to be a serious, serious player.
