That’s definitely a banger.
I didn’t know you could be a player manager at U21 level.
He’s gone to have his nap (when subbed off)

He did well tonight.

I like this team's brand of football. Nice passing and no long ball stuff - could easily be a Stephen Kenny side.

very enjoyable evening. I’ve always thought Coventry has great potential so hopefully he can push on . On another note I’ve got to say he was great to stay chatting to all people afterwards ,  before and after doing his interview pitchside. Got a great pic with him and my nephew. Seemed a really nice lad..

Great to see situation has been sorted, noss deserves a start ahead of Tierney imo, ferry if fit or gilbert ahead of kerrigan and maybe lyons at rb! I remain unconvinced by Kayode, but he scored and maybe an away game vs montenegro isn't the time to replace him.

Looks like things have been largely sorted if all the named players are clear to travel.

Hopefully, rte might pick it up. If we can get a win, we will be in a very competitive position in the group ahead of the Sweden Italy double header in November.

McEntee and Wright are the obvious ones who have dropped out, anyone else? It came down to whether their clubs would give the go ahead or not, they have 10 days quarantine to face on their return

Yeah they knew since yesterday that McEntee wasn't going to be travelling and Wright probably drops out with the knock he picked up.

Apparently they'll be allowed train and play with their clubs but other than that will be isolated from their teammates. Presume they'll train by themselves and take a PCR test before games.

Anyone else surprised by the amount of on loan league of Ireland players selected?

Great stuff
Did someone give RTE a kick up the hole or what?

Take more than a kick in the hole to sort that lot

They could do with winning this today to consolidate a good start (Luxembourg clanger stopped it being a perfect one). Italy playing Sweden too should be significant. Italy have a frighteningly strong U21 team.
