This sums it up. We had chances in Tallaght on Friday.

If you're going all the way over to that kip to play for a 0-0 draw, you'd want to hope that penalties were practiced in advance.

A f**king shameful performance by a manager who belongs in the LSL.

I think I'll be paying far less attention to the next u21 campaign if I have to watch Crawford ball. So dreary and depressing to watch. Some of the tactics and team selections ... the one upside of not qualifying is not having to watch us get steamrolled by all the decent opposition as we have a clueless coach.

Very upset for the lads in the squad seem a likable bunch. There is a few I rate as future senior squad options hope they keep progressing at squad level.

Is there anything at all we can find to slate this young man?

Think your twisting it a touch there. Actually praised him by saying he was one of our best players throughout the campaign (I didn't agree with that). He was right in that Israel were marauding down his side when he came on. A poor sub really if he was going parking the bus.

Kenny left them in a great position, it was Crawford that made a complete balls of it. Shouldnt be near the job.

I actually felt bad for the lads watching it. The tactics and general mindset made them look children against a mens team. Pathetic stuff.

I'm obviously gutted for the players. Huge effort to take it to pens stalwart defensive displays from Redmond and O'Connor in particular. Azaz was very impressive when he came on and it benefitted Smallbone massively having someone he could link up with. In the finish Azaz suffered chasing lost causes and could be marked out the game when Smallbone and Tierney went off.

As for the result itself only one team deserved to go through if we are being cold about it and that's Israel. Only one team trying to win that game for most the match even at extra time they were the ones trying despite being the more tired team. We weren't off a yard.

Only period we had was the last 15 minutes when Israel hit a bit of a wall.

He set up for penos and looks like he didn't even practice them.
