To all members, Ahead of the upcoming World Cup campaign, Ireland manager Stephen Kenny is eager to meet and talk to the team's supporters. Ideally, Stephen would have liked to have dome this on a face to face basis but, as we can't do this due to the current restrictions, the FAI have offered to host a virtual event on Microsoft Teams on March 11th at 7pm for our members and members from other supporters groups. The virtual event will include a presentation from Stephen on recent matches and what he is looking to achieve before an open floor Q&A. If you'd like to attend then please complete the below form to register and we will contact you with details prior to the event. The closing date for registrations is midnight on Monday March 8th and tickets will be issued on a first come first served basis. This event is exclusive to members of supporters groups. If you have not signed up to the YBIG Mandate already then you can do so by clicking here. Thank you for your continued support. YBIG Independent Supporters Mandate Committee |

why do you have to be a member of a supporters club to “attend”?
I have no interest in joining a supporters club. However, I signed up to the ybig mandate solely to be able to attend this. But surely I shouldn’t have even have to do that? 😕

We were asked to keep it to members to manage numbers.
It's not going to general FAI mailing list or the like.

Maybe not the place to post but any advice on how to start a supporters club? Or perhaps some direction to query this? Big following and crowd here in Manchester and would be nice to get a club together over here!

Well done to ybig mandate and other ROI Fan groups and indeed SK on a great initiative.
It's so important that the fan feels important because as we have seen in the last 12 months that without passionate fans the game we love lacks a lot of passion 🇮🇪🇮🇪

Thanks - though there is a hint of irony in that you’re forced to be a member of a supporters club in order to attend a ybig q and a with Stephen Kenny (after the hooha of away tickets going to supporters clubs, etc). Well done for organising though, looking forward to it 👍

YBIG is not a supporters club. The q and a is for YBIG and other supporters groups. All you have to do is sign up to the mandate which is a voice for independent supporters. Hardly that complex.

Where did I say it was complex? It’s actually quite simple. In order to attend this, you need to be part of a supporters grouping, be it a supporters club or be part of the ybig mandate (which in effect is a supporters grouping). I personally don’t want to be a member of any supporters grouping, but joined the ybig mandate lastnight solely to attend this. Was just pointing out the irony of it all. No biggie

Howya MancBoy. CRISC (Confederation of Republic of Ireland Supporters Clubs) are the umbrella organisation for Supporters Clubs so it's definitely worth giving them a shout if you want to set a club up. Their website is below and there's a contact form on it. If people don't want to join a Supporters Club for any reason but want representation as an independent supporters then they can join the YBIG Independent Supporters Mandate. As Donegalman said above, we are not a club but a vehicle for independent fans to have a voice in matters they were previously excluded from. Both groups are working together, along with the LOI focussed ISN (Irish Supporters Network - http://irishsupportersnetwork.ie/about-isn/) under the Irish Football Supporters Partership banner as recognised Supporters Reps with the FAI since the Governance Review Group report came out. |

Hi all. I'm still waiting on the invite links to be sent from the FAI. I spoke to them yesterday evening and they'll send to everyone who registered today. If anyone that registered doesn't get one, I'll be online here this evening and will be able to sort anyone having issues out.
