With pro/rel to the second tier? Haven’t heard anything of that either.

they were trying to form a link with a prominent Dublin schoolboy club. Using them as an academy and base.

The twitter page could well be a pisstake from last year but last years interest from this group was 100% real

It’ll be the 3rd division in 23/24 if these lads ever field a team. A poster on here did a little bit of work for them this time last year when they were working on the licensing Shocked

Saw on twitter they are calling themselves Irish Sea FC and wanting to apply for 1st division license. Board decision already taken to have a 9 team division next year ahead of a third tier the following year.

This crowd don't have any support or stadium.  Just investors. Also saying they are looking to have the club outside Dublin now. Everything just sounds like it would be a basket case club

Thought they got the license?
YEah a licence means you are eligible to be selected to play in the division, it's up to the division to actually decide who plays (usually through relegation/promotion). So 11 teams got licences, the 10 slots were the qualified 9 plus Treaty.

Think sense prevailed and they saw what a joke DC was. If they're serious about it, they can start next year.

May pick up unattached players to get going in their first season. Maybe some top end LSL and junior players?

If their plans are to get players in and sell them on and if the manager is Ukrainian, I would take a punt it's getting young players from that region. Pure speculation based on nothing Big smile
It would damage this forums' reputation

Assuming it's Morton Stadium, it's an awful place to watch a LSL game, never mind a LoI game. Not fit for purpose for football matches.

The return of Sporting Fingal another franchise because there simply isn't other clubs around the country with the Insensitive to come into the league.
I'm the gaffer whatever I say goes.

Bizzare decision to launch a team this year. All the costs of a team with zero income. Why would ya not just wait a year and start it next year
