That's what I was thinking - if this vaccine passport scheme being talked about is up and running which you can upload your vaccine record or a negative test result (shouldn't need both) onto, then we should be good to go (literally). Clap

Things will look a lot rosier by the autumn. One thing for sure is this pandemic has fuelled the doom monger. I can't stick more than an hour listening or watching Irish radio/TV. It's wall to wall negativity back home.

It has shown up how negative the media are have loved nothing more than fueling the fear and panic. George Lee creams the togs anytime he hears of a new variantLOL

Looking forward to when people can just go to full capacity grounds without the need to show a negative PCR test and/or a vaccine certificate

LOL

Have the Portuguese decided on a city/venue for this game yet? What do you feel the prospects are for Irish fans being in attendance?

No venue announced as of yet.

It's looking better than it was a few weeks ago in terms of attending, but still unlikely. Hopefully we'll be allowed to go!

I’d say if allowed to travel without restrictions a lot will still travel at that stage even if only limited crowds.

The way things are going this will probably be a full house. Tickets are going to be a nightmare for our first away game back.

If the games in Lisbon happy days Porto a bit further away

If Portugal is on the green list I expect prices from Uk to rocket - even looking at flights latter in the year Ryanair were looking nearly 500 quid each for flights to Cyprus outa Dublin

A lot can happen in the next 3 months but I would be mildly confident  come the end of Aug - not sure when they are announcing some time this week apparently

Providing there's no further set backs i.e. no new variants or vaccine side effects that this is now a runner.
time is the stuff that life is made of, don't waste it.
