Well great to be back on the road again, really enjoyable trip bar the result, we managed to get 4 tickets together and was great to be in the ground, it was a real family day out for the Portuguese fans no real hardcore supporters there, let’s hope for 2 good results for the home games, the official attendance announced was no way near what was in the ground either
How did you get the tickets?
We got very lucky, we were talking to a Portuguese lad who was a benfica fan in Faro and he said he might be able to source some tickets for us, he took our phone number and that evening he had secured 4 tickets he even drove to our accommodation with the tickets next day, he filled out all the forms that came with them (Portuguese Covid forms) too, we will be repaying the deed when Portugal visit us if needs be Clap

Hope you got the chance to repay the deed Clap

We're in the strip and had a great night last night in the temple bar.
Didn't really kick off last night till 11 but then it was madness..
Met the gold medalist from cork in one of the bars.

We're off to the four leaf clover now. Hopefully there'll be a good craic.
Which one? There's so many these days

Jinkys bar at top of the strip in Albufeira seems like a good spot, you can walk about the place and no real need to stay sitting at your table.

Can't believe a bar called the Trinity in a Portuguese resort known for having Irish tourists would be full of Irish.

Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.
