The system is actually fair enough - we would gain more/lose less points Vs England than Bosnia as they are ranked higher.

It is missing weighting for home and away sides - no benefit ranking wise to playing an away friendly.

Home friendly to a side weaker than their ranking indicates would be the way forward.

He did do well. I havent seen a whole lot of Horgan outside of his few apps for us and some for Dundalk but i rate him. 

Mad how a few weeks can quickly change your standing in international football.

It looks balanced anyway and fair play to SK for trying some new options.
But it's a surprise to many that Seanie and Horgan start when they weren't even in the original squad for these games...

I've nothing against that line-up.

We've three under-21s in the team and the likes of Maguire and Horgan are getting a chance (probably their last) to play for a place in the squad before we have a full squad to choose from again.

We also have two exciting young players in Idah and Knight who are ready made replacements for Maguire and Horgan if needed tonight.
