Oh yes. He had a bad dose of Athlete's Foot.

Are you now accusing him of feigning injury ?  What’s your deal.   You were wrong with McCarthy playing the other night.

Also Molumby won’t play as a holding midfielder under Kenny in my view.  Kenny likes him to get around the field and up around the box.

No McGoldricks ok.  I was just ripping the piss.   McCarthy doesn't care about international football.  I'd say he was hoping the FAI would send him home when he showed up with his 'injury'.  What a cock and bull story that was.  His performance the other night also suggested he didn't really bother himself that much.  Arter is another who would rather not be called up.

37 mins onwards for Kenny.

What players haven't played in 6 months? he's mentioned this twice.

Hendrick as mentioned, and Duffy hasn't played much either.
Randolph is another but doubt he'll change there.
Brady, but as he only made a cameo last time he may even start.
O'Dowda was only a bit-part player for Bristol post restart too I believe.

Strange one.  Why wont he start? Injury or just wanting to play jung fellas?

I'd like to see Molumby for McCarthy

The only negative I would have is that his style of play doesn't really suit Doherty's if they're playing on the same side; O'Dowda usually looks to drive inside which means he doesn't make much use of Doherty's overlapping runs.

Well you know everything and you're NEVER wrong, so I'll defer to your expertise.

I only saw highlights but not great. A 50-50 game and they created very little.

People talk about 3-5-2 making more sense in terms of accommodating Stevens, Egan, Doherty, and potentially Coleman, into a formation that suits them. But it would also mean not continuing to get diminishing returns with O'Dowda/Robinson whoever we stick on the right hand side. Playing McGoldrick and Connolly as a two might bear more fruit as well.

According Dan McDonnell they were missing a good few players due to injury and COVID restrictions. Wouldn't read too much into it.

I'm sure Slovakia would have been encouraged based on what they saw of us last night, but likewise, they're also well aware Kenny's only had 2 training sessions.
