Brentford were the better team.

You can’t expect to win and leave your best player on the bench - Hendrick

Fair play to Brentford that's four PL teams they've put out of the league cup this season.

BFC rested more 1st choice players tonight than Newcastle.

And they've done the same in all the previous rounds.

Bruce has done a good job at Newcastle and is continuing to do one
Would be harsh if he lost his job after this

They are probably the worst side in England to watch, I feel sorry for their fans.

Brentford have now beaten more PL sides this season than Sheff U, WBA, Fulham, Brighton and Burnley, plus the same number as Arsenal.

And that's with mostly 2nd string selections.

Makes you wonder how they'd have fared if they had gone up last season, esp since they would have been able to keep Benrahma and Watkins.

Always make sure I have plenty of DM in the house bud.

What a goal from Man U.

I fancy Spurs to win easily in the semi v Brentford tonight Mourinho likes to take the league cup seriously.

Son and Kane both starting for Spurs. Probably the strongest XI so Jose means business.

Not their strongest eleven as Matt Doherty is not playing. Should win anyway.

Not a great 2nd half from Spurs but got the job done.
A long wait for the final, not til April 25th.

Jose has the chance to be the first manager to win it 5 times.

Very dull game

The offside call was dubious, but probably correct

I would be delighted for Spurs and Jose especially, if they go on and win the trophy.

Great club, who deserve a bit of success.

Mourinho got a bit lucky with the Fulham game being postponed and drawing Marine in the FA Cup next weekend - meant he could pick just about his strongest side tonight.

Who in the end were comfortable enough.
