The orphanage that Tommy supported in Zambia watched the live stream of the funeral service.  They then followed it up with their own memorial service.

Should have bumped earlier but this is on at the moment. Lovely eulogy from Tommy's sister.

Thanks D9 and Newry for details.

I deeply regret that given current restrictions I won't be able to be there.

Rissc London member Thomas (Tommy) Feely, sadly passed away at the age of 64 on 14th August 2020

Tommy was a larger than life character, well known not only to club members but to many Irish fans who came across him over the years.

His funeral will take place on Tuesday 15th September.

https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/martin-prendergast?utm_term=rp7jnx5nx

In memory of Tommy we have set up a page for those who may wish to make a donation to WONS orphanage in Zambia, a cause very close to Tommys heart.

Tommy was always a fixture at Rissc London events. At one particular meeting in 2008, fellow club member Cathal Chu mentioned in passing to Tommy that he was helping an orphanage in Zambia and was planning on visiting them. Not only did Tommy go on this trip, such was the impact on him, Tommy bagan to support WONS Orphanage ever since making annual visits and paying for the education of many children there.

RISSC London have been overwhelmed with the amount of messages received in response to the sad news of Tommys passing on our social media channels and various football forums; which is a testament to the high regard in which Tommy was held. We have received messages from fans all around the world including from the FAI and many former club guests and players. We will continue share messages of condolences and stories with Tommys family and friends on our club website rissc.org and social media.

Denis does great snaps.

Tommy's birthday today, would have been 65. This day five years back we were celebrating his 60th in Faro for Gibraltar game. Will raise a glass to him tonight.

That's right!  Piper's was only one Irish bar in Faro, down some back alley.  But Tommy found it and held court there.  Throwing a drinks party for his 60th birthday that went well into the next morning.

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"
