We actually didnt feel his loss with Finnan and Kelly

PFA team of the year had the following at right back
00 Kelly
01 Carr
02 Finnan
03 Carr

But I feel he could have gotten a move to a bigger club and been a mainstay in the Ireland team for many years.

It was a little early for me too. I slept in for the Ireland-Cameroon game. Bloody 7am kick-off on a Saturday morning.

I disagree, he wouldn’t have made much difference, not even sure I’d have started him in that team 

His best days for Ireland were under O’Neill in his mid 30s
