The substitutions killed Rovers. McEneff ended up playing out wide and Bolger was largely ineffective allowing Shields to completely take a hold of the game.
I don't think I've ever seen a team try and get the ball to their best player less in a big game than Dundalk did last night with Duffy, bizarre. Liam Scales with a night to forget, had a hand in 3 of the 4 goals. I know we're not flush with venues to play the game, but the pitch was an embarrassment.

Get what you deserve in football. Rovers far too arrogant at 1-0. Should have pushed for the second goal. Instead they decided to keep possession of the ball and do nothing with it. Big questions to answer.

Class hatrick from McMillan. Very good player, id rate him more than Hoban. I think he brings more to that team. Good finisher also.
