nope no surprises though wales away a bit easier as the all blacks will have left town at least accommodation wise

The Saturday night prices are pretty high, if we're allowed to travel the Saturday night in Cardiff could be lively.

Fingers crossed we'll be allowed to some of the games

True, not to mention it could also be on the back of a playoff in Bosnia so in and out

Any ideas for (cheap-ish) Helsinki back to Dublin on 15 Oct? No Ryanair flights from Tallinn that day.

Had an idea it would be a blanket UEFA decision rather than each country individually

Doesn't sound yet like a firm UEFA position though.

With Baraclough getting the NI job would I be right in thinking if we play them it will be the first time 2 former LOI winning managers have faced each other at international level ?

EDIT: Would have been the same had O'Neill remained at NI

Would the fact that the tournament is now in 2021 (still been known as euro 2020) making it more farcical  kind of soften the blow if/when we don't qualify ?

I suppose having games in Dublin with us featuring would be special

Good question. It would appear to be. If we don't end up meeting them in this it is reasonably likely we will meet them in a friendly at some stage.

Doubt it will be that experimental (from Kenny's point of view). He may have players in that haven't featured much, but you can be sure that the 2 nations league games will be (first and foremost) prep for Slovakia.

May throw a couple of players on in final 15 mins, but I can imagine his preferred 11 will feature prominently in both games.

Plus there is a World Cup playoff spot up for grabs!

The thing is that we have 7 possibly 8 games in the autumn with the potential of 2 treble Headers, with 3 games in the one international window players will pick up knocks, suspensions etc so will probably get to utilise more of our squad than we normally do. Be interesting to see how many players we use over the 7/8 games. Personally I would hope that number would be at least around the 20 mark.
time is the stuff that life is made of, don't waste it.

I suspect that Kenny's first team will be very different from the last game that we played in terms of personnel, formation and style of play.

Players like whelan and Mcclean likely to be playing in league 1 and unlikely to feature in favour of players currently playing at a higher level.

I'd expect McClean to be heavily involved given his previous relationship with Kenny. Will be battling Aaron Connolly for the wide left position.
