Yeboah's versus Wimbledon.

Takes the ball on his chest, further controls it with his knee, beats a player and smashes a shot in off the crossbar.

It's the perfect combination of technique and power.

I know it hasn't been at the top levels, but some of Paddy McCourt's goals for Celtic were ridiculous.

This was some goal.
Sofiane Boufal - Southampton (vs West Brom)

Also as mentioned earlier, if this was scored by somebody more famous it would be the best ever ever.
Pajtim Kasami v Crystal Palace

BTW Wayne Rooney's overhead against City actually won this poll back in 2012 (only a year after the goal).

The best goals for me are when you have to beat a few players (Giggs, Le Tiss) or when it’s a soft finish and just wow (Bergkamp, Wiltshire etc)

Le Tiss has a few brilliant individual goals. One of my favourite players of all time. He ran f*** all but was superb. He probably wouldn’t make it to the EPL today.

Basically the best goals are the ones that are so good because they are also so rare.  You don't see goals like Maradona 86 or Messi 2015 Copa Del Rey final or Bergkamp's goal against Newcastle scored that often because they are so f**kin difficult to pull off especially at the very top level.

30 yard wonder strikes happen every season.

Patjim Kasami? I can't see how that goal can be beaten tbh. The technique was simply awesome, no other word can be used to describe it.

Yep i think this is the best goal the PL has seen. Absolutely outrageous.

Very ambiguous category

It’s between Le Tissier v Newcastle and Bergkamp v Leicester for me

Can’t have Wilshere’s v Norwich in my top 10

Why not Wilshere's? 6 times the ball is touched by 3 players in one-touch movements, including the finish. It's a brilliant goal.

Agree with the ambiguity of it. Everyone will have their own criteria on which they pick their goal.

Finding it very hard to pick the goal I think is the best.

Watched Giggs goal back last night on MOTD, a vastly overrated goal in my opinion. An emphatic finish but no one puts a challenge in. Think it gets overstated probably due to the occasion and the celebration that followed.

Ricardo Fuller scored a great goal for Stoke vs Villa. For me every bit as good as Bergkamp's as he knew what he was doing. Bergkamp's was more improvisation.

But both were in the fa cup yet they had them featured last night.

I’ve always been a big fan of the Le Tissier one he had complete control of the ball and left defenders in their arses.

Bergkamp for me was quick thinking from him after a touch he did to try control a ball slightly behind him. I don’t think he had it all planned in his head. He said so himself he turned the way he did as it was the quickest way to get to the ball.

Beckham's was a very good goal from a great player that really announced him on the scene, but there have been much better long- range goals. Matt Taylor had a couple, as well as Figueroa, Jon Harley. Petrov had one on the half-volley that was much more difficult. Charlie Adam too.
