Saw the ad too. It was due to be 11:35 tonight but looks like it got trumped for a Seamus Mallon tribute. Here's the description according to the RTE website

The Boys in Green
Episode 1
Part one of two. The story of how Ireland came of age both on the football field and off it, with contributions by former players including Tony Cascarino, John Aldridge, Mick McCarthy, Ronnie Whelan, David O'Leary, Jason McAteer, Kevin Sheedy and Stephen Staunton.

That’s the one. Any idea when it is to air. Was nearly sure it was originally listed for 9.30 tonight. The election probably has it knocked back

Probably put back to next week I'd say
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

No was advertised to be on a couple of weeks ago but wasn’t listed for the date that was on the advert. No sign of it since. A two part.

Any more on this? The filmmaker, Ross Whittaker (not the whistling guy), mentioned a possible broadcast date of mid-March on Twitter, but that was a while back.

really good so far - Jesus , Kevin sheedy is twice the man now

The saved header by Packie was phenomenal against England

The miss by Aldo  on the volly v USSR was a terrible miss
Robbed that day , and Galvin was taken down in box for a penalty never given
