Got my J&J vaccine Monday and my Covid cert arrived in my inbox on Wednesday

Fear now is because the vaccine takes 2 weeks to fully kick in, I'll be turned away from pubs because of this.

The app scanner will give them the name and vaccine date so they could well be instructed that they have to make sure the time has passed. Is it one or two weeks for J&J?

That's the one fear i have, i can't wait for two weeks to go to a pub after not being in a pub for a year and a half.

They were lauded for so long but have rightly f*cked this up.

Most pubs in Cork are not opening Monday over the fear of the fine. In one part of the city the pubs are open  in doors right now. The local seargent in this part of town isn't bothering enforcing the rules, he's going after drug dealers etc.

I can't drink in my local but some fella from Honolulu can drink in the hotel across the road. Clap

Ya, if you pay €200 and stay the night then you're safe from Covid.
