Of course they could, so maybe should is a better question

Shopping centres.  What a nightmare those places are. People hanging around doing fck all sitting on the ground congregating.  The shops are doing a good job but the centres themselves.   Went in once to get something important a couple
Of weeks and not going back to them.  Nightmare
I think this is the perfect opportunity to blow them all up in a safe manner.

I was in a  place called The Trafford Centre once.  Also one near Leeds. Can't remember what it was called.  Horrible places.  Big giant ostentatious monstrosities.
You haven't seen the Bullring in Birmingham? LOL

I was in one end of it briefly when I had 2 hours to kill.  It's in the city centre right?

Fair point on the shopping centres, unless restrictions on the amount allowed in at a time, would require governance but could work in theory

How likely are the people who are flaunting L3 restrictions to adhere to L4+ restrictions ? The advice and recommendations coming from various organs of the state are coming from a cohort of people generally in senior roles who are used to having their subordinates follow orders unequivocally. When people are not beholden to a hierarchy, they make their own decisions about their behaviour. The evidence suggests that rate of transmission and number of cases is considerably higher in areas of low socio-economic rates. I think the approach to C19 here is framed from a Middle Ireland attitude and perspective, and there is a big disconnect with a lot of people.

Westfield is hell on earth. The one near the Olympic Stadium in Stratford being the worst. It cost them billions to make Stratford worse.LOL
I walked through the Westfield in Stratford the afternoon of the final day of the London Olympics, it was the only way out of the Tube station I could find

I had a banging sore throat on me (I think it might have been Covid)

It felt like being trapped in a British equivalent of the Simpsons episode where it's during the 1984 Olympics and the crowd are queueing up at Krusty Burger for their free burgers, shouting "USA, USA, USA"

The place was filled with smug white van men and white van women waving carrying little union jacks with them everywhere

The infection rate now seems to be driven by the 15-24 year old cohort and possibly the 19-24.

So is it colleges going back and people living in overcrowded accommodation which is causing this second wave?

I forgot about the Bullring! Another wonderful piece of design. Birmingham may have more canals than Venice, but Venice's centre is somewhat more picturesque.LOL

The thing I hated about England was that every city was filled with the same chains of shops and those retail parks are another depressing development.  English people go to their out of town cinema built beside an indoor ski slope, and then go to the adjacent Frankie & Benny's afterwards.  Ireland has gone a similar way but not quite to the same extent.

Even Oxford city centre is a chain store haven. You have a historic Tudor cottage on the main street but on the ground floor of it is a carphone warehouse

The report said: "Another friend who he infected felt unwell and contacted her GP to arrange a Covid-19 test. She had the test in the morning but by afternoon she felt a bit better and decided to go to a friend's party.

That part is even worse. She has symptoms, awaiting a test result and still goes to a fooking party?
I dont email the count anymore, its been 9 months : ( He even sent me a YBIG scarf for my Birthday

Can see Scotland quickly following suit

With England about a month behind everyone else as it's been the case since March

WTF was the point of the levels when they keep adding and taking bits away from them.
Was wondering this as well. Bring in a roadmap of the different levels to give people guidance so they know what happens each time then go and change it when decision time comes by picking & choosing what they want and don't want

Have a nephew in college in Galway and he said its rampant in students over there. Hasn't bothered going back the last couple of weeks, said it's not worth the risk

Yeah they really have been misleading from day 1 and haven't really served much benefit for the effort that was put into them.
