Travel restrictions changed to allow travel anywhere in your county...so you can now travel from Beara to Macroom in Cork but not from Clonee to Blanch. They'll have to go back afternoon this arrangement.

Hotels and B&Bs reopening at the end of the month would indicate that all travel restrictions will be scrapped at that point too.

Certain counties have basically no Coronavirus, makes sense to prevent it spreading.

Yes some counties are bigger than others

Wrong. Up to 20km from your home if crossing county boundaries.

Still of no benefit to the tens of thousands of us who live in the commuter belt and want to visit our elderly parents in Dublin.

Indeed I am wrong after Vlads presser. The leaked report on RTE news at One was not as clear as Vlad. And I did say they'll have to go back on it. Still all in all a good day.

@Caolanmcaree
I just seen someone suggest that Monaghan and Cavan should join for a few weeks during the new restrictions because of their small size.

I would sooner join with Aleppo than Cavan thanks

The R rate has risen back to 1 in the North West and South West of England.

I was chatting to a JD Sports area manager and he was telling me about how they've received dossiers already from the Government on how to layout gyms as they're trying to push for gyms to reopen in the next wave of restrictions.

I can see this ending in tears tbh, as much as I love the gym the signs of a 2nd spike are already there.

When you’ve still more daily deaths than most of Europe combined, has the first wave really passed?
