I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

The recession that will follow this may very  probably kill more people than allowing the virus to go unchecked.

Would like to see some stats on the 9 who have died, heard one was a 35yo male with no underlying conditions

Yes, they don't seem to be too forward with that info. Maybe they are reluctant to do so but the message would get across better if they did. Younger people think they are more resistant to the virus. After listening to that young fella in Kerry 28 years of age you'd be fairly concerned if you got it.

Interesting read regarding how rapid the spread has become and the CL match between Atalanta v Valencia

First Lombardy case was on 14th Feb, 40,000 Atalanta fans travelled from Lombardy to Milan on the 19th, the rest is history.

Liverpool V Atletico should never have gone ahead. Crowds mingling all day. When you look where Madrid is at now.

Spanish fans don't really travel for away games so it could of been alot worse but the Italian Media have labelled Atalanta v Valencia 'Game Zero' as the game had to be played in Milan as Atalanta's stadium isn't suitable for European football so the match spread the virus from Lombardy to Milan and amongst each other with Valencia fans bringing it back to Spain with them.

Doesn't include neutrals/tourists either.

The circumstances made it a perfect storm for a virus.

Well in a round about way he could be right:
around 25k die EVERY day due to hunger in third world countries.
These countries are heavily reliant on money coming from rich countries to keep the numbers to only 25k.
If the rich countries reduce the current donations due to a large recession, then it’s very likely more people will die in the third world countries over the middle class people in Europe/America etc who will die from the coronavirus.

He's probably referring to suicides which come with financial problems rather than hunger.
