Don’t know about the protest. But I’d love to know what the tangible outcomes from this visit will be.

Suppose they think it might look worth doing to their voters whoever they are. Laughable stuff from this lot.

Nothing major. As usual it will put us centre stage while he is here. The image will also be good from a FDI point of view, but decisions will still be made based on steering financial outcomes.

I think their issues are that Biden supported the US attacks on Iraq, which is what they are equating as the same as the attacks from Russia on Ukraine.

They also take issue with Biden providing military and financial support to the Saudis and Israel, while being paraded as the President of the free world.

Surprised the D4 media haven't made much of the Black and Tans comments. Although he was talking about Rugby so all is ok.

In reality though its just the usual far-left, tired, automatic criticism of America. And, in typical left wing fashion, they have turned both barrels on the Social Democrats and Sinn Fein, who have actually shown an awareness of the significance of American contributions to the GFA, and the peaceful period thereafter, and have welcomed Biden's visit.

Didn't see them doing any protests when the Chinese premier came to visit not so long ago. Do they just pick the ones that suit?

The goys did a great ironic rendition of Celtic symphony on the plane a few years ago.  Total carnage and the brown Thomas bags were flying.

He did. Very relaxed, enjoying the occasion, as were the audience. That’s the Irish American vote onside for the next election.
