Smallbine looks like he could be the one to knit the play in behind Ferguson and Obafemi. Something we have missed since Weso retired.

Agreed. He would make a good combo with Ferguson in build up.
The other options in the squad really aren't capable

He's a winner, which is more can be said for Kenny's charges who are about as blunt and impotent as a bishop's cock in a graveyard.

Who cares what he did as a manager, he's a born winner and doesn't suffer fools. The best managers were sh*te players, look at Kerr, Lowe and Klopp.

Great player, poor manager/coach. Comparing him to our current players is as stupid as it is redundant.

When did I compare him to our current PLAYERS or MANAGER?! All I said was see what Roy would have to say about goal involvements being used as stats these days!

And as I said to you he’s hardly a fountain of tactical nous, therefore whatever he thinks about this subject is pretty irrelevant.

Also, you did compare them pal;

“He's a winner, which is more can be said for Kenny's charges who are about as blunt and impotent as a bishop's cock in a graveyard”.

"Bishop's cock in a graveyard" is something I could totally imagine Junior Soprano coming out with
