If thats the only thing that bothers you from all this. Good grief.

I never said that, just lamenting the fact that we have to have a sponsor on our jersey

have a couple of  jerseys without sponsors Cool

Every single 1 of my Irish jerseys has a sponsor.

Tbf, I don't mind the Opel on the '86, '90 & 94' shirts. The Eircom log was by far the biggest eye sore ever to grace an Ireland jersey.

I don't know, some fairly strange looking lads lined out for the fans team over the years

Looks like Paddy Power are coming on board. While it won't be a popular brand hopefully as they also sponsor Huddersfield Town and Motherwell neither of those two display their logo on their shirts.

Are Bank of Ireland not the new sponsors?
I thought a deal was done with them when restructuring the debt.

Just new official banking partners far as I know. Not full sponsorship.

I will never buy a single item or merchandise from the FAI if it has Paddy Power branding on it

Paddy Power to just edge out McDonald's and Benson and Hedges for the chance to be the shirt sponsor.

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"
