Really good article in the examiner from Anthony Daly. What has been going on in Clare GAA has been a joke for too long.

Congrats too Antrim and Limerick. Limerick are an amazing squad and the much better team yesterday
The wait goes on for Waterford but proud of the lads, really gave the county a lift after this horrible year Edited by Healy52003 - 14 Dec 2020 at 8:01pm |

The difference in the speed of the game and the poor first touches were noticeable though That's what happens with tiered competitions Limerick are on a different tier to everybody though

Probably our worst performance of the year saved for the final but sure, no one will be too bothered. Antrim 4 Liam! Oh, fans of the other code looking at a split tier championship got a glimpse into the future there. f**k all build up, captains speech cut off for an advert, no post match interviews or analysis. Away up the road out of the way boys. Be careful what you wish for.

Sensible enough that. Antrim back playing D1 and Leinster championship would be some going for where we were two or three years ago. Had reservations about Gleeson due to off the field stuff ( understandable enough I think ) but he's really done a great job.

Why is Kerry being in Leinster any more ridiculous than Galway out of interest?
The Leinster hurling championship is a bit like UEFA qualifying in the football - come one, come all. EDIT: Forget I asked that question - obviously still half asleep.

That's a result of what happened after some of the club finals earlier.

None of the Antrim and Kerry squads/management are allowed stay on and watch the All Ireland final
Faracial plenty of places they could of accommodated them, you have to wonder sometimes the intelligence rate of these 'decision makers' and then the cups not been allowed leave the podium Dundalk had the Fai cup in the dressing room the weekend

According to Wikipedia, if Kerry win they playoff with worst Munster team for a place in next years provincial. If Antrim win we're back in Leinster at someone's expense ( Laois?).
f**k knows. H'on Antrim

Think there still is promotion this year and the winner will go into the Leinster round robin for 2021 (even Kerry as farcical as it is) but then again nobody has a clue whats happening for 2021 and the championship could be knockout again

So it is although intriguingly if Kerry win next year they go into Munster (Also Mea Cupla. If things weren't changed this year Kerry would playoff against the bottom Munster team and not go into Leinster)

I don't think that's right. What was meant to happen was McD cup was to be played off earlier in the year and finalists would enter McCarthy Cup at qualifier stage. As that didn't happen, as I understand, there is no promotion from it this year.
