Some have booked flights already for about €60/70 when the draw was done and will just take the hit if we're not in Bosnia. Apart from that not alot you can do really.

My flight on the morning after a potential Bosnia play-off, with Wizzair too, from Sarajevo to Budapest has changed from 07.45 to 10.45 giving me a welcome lie in and shortening the layover to 2.5 hours. It's all falling in to place for us |

Same. Still plenty of time once the flight home doesn't get moved. Sunday morning change is of course good news.

A bit gutted tbh. Was hoping to booze my way through the night before catching a taxi to the airport around 3:30. Now there's a real risk I'll fall asleep somewhere and not wake up till midday* *as has happened before

I'm on that flight also, and a the return on to Buda day after the potential game; any idea how long we have to accept the changes? be great if we could leave it til the 27 March to accept/reject and get a refund if we lose or have to go to Belfast

If you reject it you'll only get money back as flight credit for wizz air. No idea how long you have to accept though

Cheers for that, the credit would get used, so harm there. Doing nothing, I presume, is also acceptance?

Wizz air have 20% off at the moment so the Budapest to Sarajevo flight is available for less than €60. Worth a punt

Basing myself there too, if we get there I'm sure there'll be buses or taxis of groups heading up and back. At least with the return flight a bit later the next day there wont be a mad dash back for the airport.

Does anyone have any experience of Sarajevo airport? I have an early flight back, are the security queues long?

I stayed in Zenica last time the night before and the night of the game. It was fine but nothing as scenic or as lively as Sarajevo. Sarajevo was a great city (stayed there the first night). I'd recommend it but hate the idea of bus trips with police escorts etc. Not a lot of places to drink alcohol (loads to drink coffee) My hotel (Fontana) did serve beer though. I don't remember any problems at the airport.
