It’s where John Sullivan got the idea that the Trotters would hold on to the flat in Peckham after the lost their millions.

Maybe he was a consultant on Rocky 5?

Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan.

At the start of the film, Chekov and friends land on a planet that they think is one thing, but soon find out it's another planet entirely. In basic terms, they wanted planet 6, but accidently landed on planet 5. Planet 6 having been destroyed years previously.

How the hell can a highly advanced, space-faring bunch of scientists land on the wrong planet!

It would be like the Earth being destroyed and spacemen landing on Mars thinking it's the Earth, because it's the 3rd planet!

A minor matter, in the overall flaws. Clark and Ellen seem incapable of recognising the periodical replacement of their children by imposters. One minute the son is Winona Ryder’s boyfriend from Edward Scissorhands, the next he’s Sheldon’s best pal.

Also, why not test the lights before turning them on at the big reveal?

In Top Gun yer wan wants to keep their love affair secret yet she goes to a well known bar in San Diego only a couple of miles from Miramar and is all over Maverick having a loud singalong while Goose plays the Piano.  Surely she would not be seen out in public kissing him if she wanted nobody to know.
Surely she wouldn't want even Goose to know.

Also if the US Navy are in direct combat with the Russians as implied wouldnt that be an act of war and invoke WW3 seeing as its 1986?

I'm a fan of Lampoon's Christmas, it makes an annual appearance here. But it is hard to feel sorry for some rich **** who doesn't get his enormous Christmas bonus so he can put a pool out the back of his massive house LOL

I was watching too. I spotted something that was another telltale that Sullivan was called in as a guest on this one too. When Mav and Charlie meet at Chaz’s place for lunch, the bottle of wine level goes up, down, up and up again before they even have a swig of it. This is similar to the scene with Sids cigarette in the cafe in Hull & Back. A Sullivan calling card.

I believe he was involved in the scriptwriting from a trusted source close to Tom Cruise.  You can also see the plot holes here where Tom Cruise's stunt double stood in for a few scenes

In Halloween we don;t see Michael eating at any stage.  Presumably he would have to eat seeing as he had a long car journey ahead of him and a stressful couple of days of murders to commit.  He must have had a severe case of the munchies off camera.
