The Swiss will be able to handle our set pieces.
I can see them scoring 2 or more against us.

I'll be optimistic with a 1-1.

He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

1-1.

They take the lead in the first half, we come alive at 75 minutes and steal a goal.

I think we had our chance yesterday,we insisted on playing for a draw and completely blew it  .............3-0 Switzerland,Would love to see us win and go through but that was absolutely abysmal yesterday and I'm really disgusted with McCarthy.....It makes no sense in the world to not have a go at Georgia only to have to win against either the Swiss or the Danes, outrageous really.

The Swiss are a very organised side and will create a lot of chances. We have no players that will worry them.

Duffy at set pieces is still our most likely route to goal.

We have 2 chances to qualify.
We have to keep it tight but take risks when needed. We should be throwing bodies forward for every corner etc

I can’t see us winning against the Swiss but a home game v Denmark is a great opportunity to qualify. If we can only win 1 match out of 6 v Denmark/Swiss/Georgia then we don’t deserve top 2 IMO.

1-1

But only if Duffy is employed up front, with Connolly playing off him.

Yes, I meant to type 'Duffy'. I am seeking to replicate the Niall Quinn Ibaraki effect, but would settle for the Gary Doherty process.

1-0 Ireland

Some dodgy set piece goal in the 4th minute followed by 86 mins of dogged defending and the Swiss hitting the bar/post x4 times. Randolph, Duffy and Egan playing out of their skin.
