Kenny has shown no interest in him to date.

Yep even at 21's which is disappointing

To be fair to Kenny he did have Idah, parrott and connolly at u21s when he was there.

I think there was a game or 2 where mick had lads called up and he still didn't give Scully a look. Pretty sure they aren't fussed on the lad in the setup.

I've seen the parrott goal for MKDons over the weekend and it was a very good goal, his movement and finish were excellent.

Watched the scully goal scored over the weekend for the first time and his movement and finish was sublime. There's a few games (3 I think) between now and Portugal and if scully continues this level of football he needs to be in the squad.

If parrott is, then scully needs to be as well.

Yeah, men against boys.
He should be called up though...no question.

It's stat padding to an extent with tonights game but 5 goals in 5 games is fairly impressive stuff from Scully. Is Lincolns main man will be exciting to see what numbers he can hit this year just hope he stays fit now!

He went off after he pulled up with what looked like a groin-strain so I'd not be surpised if he's out for a few weeks.

He will never get an easier hat trick in his life. United played a back 3 for the opening 30 minutes with 1 CB, and I mean actually operated with 1 CB and played like it was a back 4. The LB just played as a normal LB, the CB played as a normal LCB, and the RB (who is actually a CM) just ran around clueless on the right side (where Scully was). Was a shambles.

If he is fit though he is worth a call up all the same, goals are goals at any level and with our struggling to score against the likes of Gibraltar we could use someone who can score even against the worst opposition.

On the mark again tonight. 7 goals and we only in August. If he can stay fit it's going to be a bit of craic seeing what sort of goal tally he can assemble. He is a real natural goalscorer what he level he can keep translating that to time will tell.

I wouldnt take much not of any of the EFL Trophy games, they played Uniteds U23s in the previous round which was akin to a training game for them and Bradford of League Two's B team tonight.

In the league he has 3 goals for them in 5 games which is good going, but 2 of them were also penos.

So lets not get too carried away and see how hes gets on.

There is an element of stat padding tbf isn't there.

He is scoring goals, regardless of penalties or strength of opposition. If Parrott was doing it, this forum would be creaming their pants.

Scully is 22 and Parrott is 19. Scully was nowhere near as talented as Troy is at his age or ages below it (even though, let us not forget, he was in the England set up). I don't get this comparison that gets thrown out to inflate Scully and his level. Scully has work to do. He might get there but he's hardly criminally overlooked at present. Anyone that saw his play off appearances last season and his inability to impose himself on those big games could see that he has a bit to do.

He's some man for the top corner.

Reaching a point where he really has to get called up. The fact that we can barely hit a barn door aside.

17 goals in 31 starts is some going. And he has a load of assists as well. He must have a goal involvement per every start at this rate.

In fairness to him, Hogan has a record of a goal in every three games at Birmingham. I wasn't a fan of him in his previous appearances for us, but might be worth another look against Qatar.

It's assists that tip it for me.
