Worst jersey was the first one under the McCarthy era in 1996. That one with the mess of squiggles on the front

this one is right up there for me, awful kit

Defo not one of our worst. Not by a long way.

It’s because it never looked like a Republic of Ireland jersey  , it has NI all over it . Never worked as our jersey .

Exactly. Worst home one in last 30 years. Closely followed by the 2003-05 effort which was similar only in horizontal stripes.

Other honourable mentions the poor templated efforts from 2005-2009 which showed no originality or much difference from previous efforts. One reason why the 2010-11 home jersey was such a popular jersey.

2002 World Cup jersey wasn't great and would be looked upon much less favourably if it wasn't worn for a World Cup.

Away jerseys... that 2015 grey with a lime green line was awful, so awful they never wore it.
2000/01 was poor as well.
I wasn't the biggest fan of our Euro 2016 away jersey but it's synonymous with Lille so I like it LOL
Our last away jersey before the new one came out this summer was terrible.
You don't know Bo?

He's an appropriate model for the jerseys for the modern Irish man alright.  'Say Auf Wiedersehen to skinny fit. Here's Barry Taylor wearing XXXXL'

the 2016 black "away" one was a poor effort. the one on the first page (nations cup "champions" pic) was pretty good actually imo.

Why did we get a new crest then?
Because the FAI wanted a new modern marketable brand crest/logo. You cant spell fail without......

Serious question but why did they copy/paste Israel's crest template? It looks very cheap Dead
other way around, Ireland logo was first

Fair enough! I'll leave it at that LOL

Typical Isreal, if its not somebody else's land its football crests
