Keegan v Connolly is one the great individual duels in history, maybe the greatest, they became associated with each other in a way I can't really remember happening with many or any other players, it was like Micky Ward v Arturo Gatti

Noel O'Leary v Paul Galvin was always good craic but this was on a different level altogether

Seamus Moynihan v Oisin McConville was one of the great duels but that only happened once, it happened four times with Keegan and Connolly and they also clashed plenty in other matches where they weren't directly marking each other

Remember Ginola won player of the year in 1999 😀😀😀 not in GAA obviously

I was doing a quiz yesterday on the top French goalscorers in Premier League history. No sign of Ginola. For a man that scored some absolute belters, his goal return was brutal. Laurent Robert scored more in less games.

Yeah but Ginola had the nicest hair!

And no Ireland cap.
Sure he would have gotten a sore neck watching the ball go over his head constantly

Even though Dublin won most of those games i think Keegan came out on top in those duels

If the GPS had ended up hitting the post it would have been the most Mayo thing that has ever happened.

towards the canal end. Mayo are fond of scoring into that end no matter which way they are shooting.

John Tennyson threw his hurley at Lar Corbett at the Canal End as Corbett was about to score a goal in the 2010 hurling final

Nearly worked as well

Such a pity and hope the affected fully recover but I think there's need to be a positive swing of this in the media. Lots of negative feedback from this no doubt which will feed the doubters of the having a championship etc like the Tyrone keeper

Absolutely no way should any championship go ahead this year.

Why not? Other sports are taking place. Something to look forward to in these grim grim days
