Surprised you didn't mention the Stephen Kenny Brazilian like football? You're losing your touch.

They did indeed beat the senior and it's no surprise they did. In a training game, both teams would be told not to be overly physical no doubt, so the u21s would run rings around a lot of the senior Irish players imo.

If somehow these sides played in a competitive game, the senior team would batter the u21s physically and win comfortably.

It is funny to read so many totally dismiss anyone voting yes the u21s would beat the seniors, when they already have.

Thick thread is that way lads Clap

I think it’s stranger that people voted ‘no’ considering they have already beaten the senior side.

Don't remember that.

I echo D69's comments.

The question asked is not 'are the u-21s a better team than the senior side?' - it is 'would the u-21s beat the senior side?'. We literally have empirical proof that they can. We have no such evidence to point to for the contrary. I'm really not sure why people are finding this so confusing. No-one is claiming they are a better team than the senior side.

how could there be a competitive game? They have played and the 21s have beaten them in the only game possible that they could play in. Still havnt seen the line ups ,that link won’t work for me. They way some are talking above is that the seniors would win 6or 7-0. It’s all hearsay anyway
