Was he not a holding midfielder when on loan? I always thought that is where he wanted to play

West Ham and Southampton have also been linked . This story is over a month old as Newcastle we’re linked with him 6 weeks ago.

He seemingly tried to play a 40 yard back pass to the QPR keeper and the ball dropped to the Boro striker Assambolonga (spelling) and he scores.

I would definitely give Mick a pass on Manning as he seems to have a costly mistake in him. He was at fault for a goal in the Brentford game a few weeks back.

He's still young so hopefully he'll learn from it.

Both goals were down to ourselves yes but Ryan had a good game otherwise and has still played every minute of every game for Qpr.

It was an individual error Tommy, there's no covering it up.

Now if it was just another Irish player who did that you would be fairly quick off the mark to say it so call it how it is.

I just had a chance to look at the highlights in this now. Ryan was at fault for the first goal he left the ball for the cb which allowed Assombalongo in but the 40 yard back pass was Nahki wells so don’t know where you got that from ?
