You can be guaranteed Stephen Kenny wont have a bar of him when he gets the job. Unless he bangs in a sh*t loads of goals between now and then.

Shouldn't be in the March squad under any circumstances.
If Michael Obafemi is back fit and has played for Southampton before the Gibraltar game then I'd love to see him get on for the final twenty minutes, he'd fancy his chances of scoring. Why potentially stunt the development of a promising 18-year-old striker who has already scored at Premier League level for the sake of a journey man who can't buy a goal, or fitness? Get our more promising youngsters in and around the match day squad and ready for bigger tests to come. |

I can't see him start in front of Shane Long, Jonathan Walters, Séanie Maguire, David McGoldrick, Aiden O'Brien, Scott Hogan, Ronan Curtis, Michael Obafemi and Graham Burke. Or Patrick Bamford if he joins us.
Having said that, I think it's a decent move to tie down anyone that qualifies for us, regardless if they've currently going to make the squad or not. We're learning lessons from the Grealish and Rice affairs.

He’ll be in for the training camp in May, which makes sense I think.
Honestly, I think they’ll look at him because he’s 6” 2’ and we don’t have any big men anymore. If he can do that job, great. Don’t think he adds much to us though.

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995" |

Underwhelming... worst i can remember us ever being stacked up top yet Keane would still be well down the pecking order.

Quote from the 42. "Mick McCarthy has revealed that Ipswich striker Will Keane will also be considered having sent assistant Terry Connor to watch him in league one" Is Mick McCarthy on drugs? You really have to question Micks ability to identify talent in a footballer. Surely... just Surely, Will Keane would be behind - Long Mcgoldrick Connolly Obafemi Parrott Idah Curtis |

Maybe Terry Connor is the one on drugs. I think an intern in the FAI writes that sh!te. Worse than your daily star sign reading.

Unbelievable.
Feel for someone like Paddy Madden when Keane is getting mentioned like that. Would have these ahead of Keane: McGoldrick Maguire Long Obafemi Connolly Collins Hogan Idah Parrott Curtis O'Brien Madden Amond |
