Mick has done well to win this game considering the pathetic effort put in from everyone except Darren Randolph.

Bringing on Brady for Doherty was a fantastic substitution.

Changed the game Clap

Not the best but three points against the pretend brits will do at this stage.

This.

We have qualified in the past despite sh*t performances against the 'lesser' teams.

How we perform against Switzerland and Denmark will decide our fate.

Embarrassing

1-0 win over a minnow and it could easily of been 1-1

Stevens' use of the ball was terrible.

That's as bad as any performance under the previous management team. I think that dispels the myth of Mick getting us playing good football. Some of our players would want to take a serious look at themselves.

Yes, the conditions were sh*te. Yes, it was an astro. Nobody was expecting to score 6 or 7 again like we did in a previous campaign. But that was a pathetic performance. And finishing with 1 striker on the pitch is equally as pathetic.

While there's no doubting we aren't loaded with top quality players, to put all of the blame on them is a pure cop out.

From the very first kick off I watched Shane Duffy punting a ball 50 yards to nobody in a game force wind. That is on the management. At ht I was delighted to see the analysis pick out a few clips of Duffy punting a long ball to nobody under zero pressure. Hendrick clipped about 10 balls into the corners to nobody in particular. Besides the goal he was scarily bad.

I'd ask what we were actually trying to achieve out there bar the 3 points obviously. It's amazing how much ball we just f*cked 70 yards up the pitch to nobody. Besides a couple of McGoldrick touches, we have no composure at all on the ball. The midfield was a barren wasteland. What has McCarthy done to fix these blatantly clear problems in our setup?

A truly grim day to support Ireland. Roll on our Brazilian style football on Tuesday night that we are waiting for. Mick Clap

Some highlights
- Hendrick unironically doing the hand to the ear celebration to 3 ball boys and the runway at Gibraltar airport
- Doherty literally standing off the pitch to receive a throw in from Coleman
- Repeated Long balls into the channels from the first minute to the 89th, despite it being evident very early on that the pitch was extremely slick and none would stay in play
- McGoldrick being outpaced by the Gibraltar goalkeeper, who is a labourer when he’s not playing international football
- Continuing our perfect record of failing to complete a throw in
- Roy Chipolina waltzing past three Irish players and presenting their #10 with one of the best chances of the match
You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

Duffy's continued aimless passing was depressing. He blamed the wind but shouldn't be attempting those type of passes full stop.

Hans Moleman pointed it out earlier in the week as something Mick or TC should be picking up on but it appears that they haven't (or he didn't listen).
