Even a sprain would keep him out for 2-3 weeks

Why does Hogan deserve a place over Collins?

Amy mention of who's on the stand by list ?
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Has Long been playing all that much?

Equally, Christie is behind Doherty and Coleman in the RB pecking order. I also feel Hogan isn’t playing enough and Collins is doing well at Luton. McCarthy will be back when he is playing regular football. Although by my reckoning he last played for us two years ago?

I disagree with very little about this squad

Hogan will probably come in for Curtis and Williams for Browne.

Is Whelan our only recognised defensive midfielder? To go from Declan to a 35 year-old who really should be retired from international football... Jaysus.

Harry Arter can also play there, so you are correct.

Possible team without injured Curtis and Browne

Randy
Coleman Duffy  Egan  Doherty
Arter
Hendrick   Hourihane
O'Dowda                        Brady
Long

Not too shabby.

Ahh I'm not disagreeing with most of the decisions just not what i expected him to pick! Long has only played 11 games this season, hogan is in the Sheffield united team now, but i think if he played the rest of the season he would make the summer squad. Mccarthy going for whos in form and actually playing football so fair play to him. sean williams isnt playing well at the moment, but he would be the only holding midfielder we have bar whelan

I don't think there is much surprise there only one I'd have would be O'Hara over Travers

In defense- Christie is obviously behind Coleman and Doherty and playing for a god awful Fulham team

Kevin Long not sure if he has been injured but he hasn't been in the last few Burnley squads

Ward likewise coming back from injury not so sure about D Williams.

McGeady has been good for Sunderland but I think there is better options with O'Dowda, Brady, McLean and Judge to play on the wing

Meyler I'm even sure how he is doing, Williams I think age was his downfall, though I know Whelan got in probably ahead of him.

As for upfront, Hogan, O'Brien and Amond the first one hasn't really played that much has he since joining Sheffield ? Amond's league 2 status obviously brought him down not so sure how O'Brien has been doing at Milwall either but the others selected have been either been playing better or are of a higher status.

Georgia would have to fancy their chances. Actually, so should the f**king Fraggles.
