Fitzpatrick was 6 under through 6 on his own ball. McIlroy was just there to watch and applaud.

Surely neither of them go out for the afternoon 4balls. Regardless of status in world golf, when you get a pasting like that you're mentally done.

Looking at scorecard for it, looks like it was pretty much more them being sh*t rather than Hovland and aberg being good

Jamie Weir's tweet about Cantlay is something else. If that's true, why is he even there?

I'm not sure it's a good idea to put out MacIntyre again.

I'd take a 2-2 split this afternoon. 11.5 points heading into Sunday.

Basically Cantlay is in protest at not getting paid to play in the competition. Him and Schauffele (his best friend on tour) are keeping separate to the rest of the US team in the dressing room, didn't attend the pre tournament event and have split the dressing room.

I suppose give him a chance to redeem himself a little. But can see Thomas/Spieth winning that one alright

Hardly matters! It’s over.

Europe comfortable enough to even let the best player in the world sit out this afternoons four balls.
