Rory on fire today.. probably too late at this stage. Shane will regret a couple of meltdown moments this weekend.

That’s the only way McIlroy will ever win the Masters! When the pressure is off he can play some amazing golf.

Just as well Scheffler had that big lead. 4 putting the 18th

When the pressure is off and he's out of contention he is without doubt the greatest player to ever pick up a set of clubs. Unfortunately it happens far too often these days. Sky were way OTT with hyping up his chances. They almost tried to take away from how well Scheffler was playing. When he birdied 10, he was 7 shots back and the Sky commentator said it was on because Rory had 2 par 5s left....... He casually forgot Scheffler and Smith were 4 holes back with three par 5s left to play. Scheffler is an absolute machine. Barring the brain farts on 18 green, that was a flawless performance.

I would usually be cheering Lowry on but hoping Spieth gets back in the winners circle.

Making a bit of a habit of blowing up on certain holes. Triple bogey at the masters. Double bogey cost him here. Had other chances to get in the play off aswell.

His putting let him down on the back nine. Another top 5 finish and big payday though. He’s really stepped up his level consistency wise but needs to kick on and cut out the final round mistakes and loose putts.

He had some sloppy drives as well in the last round. He got out of jail on either 13th or 14th with a great up n down from the fairway. The double bogey was poor. Missing the putt and 17th followed by the approach at 18th sort of summed the inconsistent play.

runs out of stamina, needs to be in better shape, it can cost you that half stroke that makes a difference

Absolutely nothing to do with it. Its the bit between the ears thats costs him. When he gets in contention he starts flaring the ball left and right and plays himself out of the tournament. Doesn't hole the big putts either. You look at the putt Lowry missed on 17, give Spieth that same putt with the tournament on the line and he buries it all day long.

I'd have more respect for him if he just came out and say he doesn't care about the dead people and just cared about the money.
