My brother backed him to win this week! You would like to think Paddypower would pay out LOL

Rough one for Rahm, he had the tournament wrapped up too.

The lad's made $30m quid winnings in his career, probably same again in endorsements, the money is nothing to him.

Reading on Twitter that he refused a vaccine, if so, he's a great example to encourage others to get vaccinated.

US open this week…
You can get DJ, Koepka, DeChambeau all around 20’s

At Torrey Pines were woods won in 08 on one leg.
-1 was the best score then.

Rahm is the fav.
If in doubt put a bet on Koepka.

He is still available at 7/1 now.

Rory and DeChambeau just 2 off the lead on -3
Rahm is -2
D Johnson -1
Koepka is E

Rory had the best round of the day. They were showing his stats for the last 2 rounds of the majors. He was the top player since 2014….. just needs to improve his first 2 rounds!

A little misleading that stat! It’s easy to put a couple of good rounds together when there is no pressure on, which has been the case the past 5/6 years with McIlroy! Be interesting to see how he copes with the pressure of actually being in with a good chance.

Hopefully he fails miserably.

Yeah I think he puts too much pressure on himself, messes up the 1st or 2nd round so he is not in contention, and then has a pressure free weekend and comes top 10.

He has certainly done this in a few masters recently.

Hope he can win it.

Unbelievable golf from Jon Rahm! Hopefully done enough to get the win.

As expected McIlroy didn’t handle the pressure on the back 9 well at all.

Couldn’t stay up to watch it but glad Rahm won it. What a way to win, birdies on the 17th and 18th.

Good for the Ryder cup too.

He’s the best player in the world at the moment no doubt, to come back from what happened at the Memorial a few weeks ago shows an unbelievable mental strength, those two putts at the end and the fist pumps were Tiger-esque.

Was really surprised how Bryson, Koepka and Morikawa’s challenge faded on the back 9, some horror holes from all three.

Rory played his best golf in the last few holes when the pressure was off, he will win another major but I reckon it could be one where he’s’ 5/6 shots off the leader on the final day and shoots a really low score with the pressure off.
