The Danish golfer Thorbjorn Olesen was arrested for pissing in the aisle of a transatlantic flight and for sexually assaulting a female passenger.

In fairness, that was the annual tour prize; the way they do the thing now is a bit crazy but that is for far more than just that one tournament.

Stokes is on about a million pounds a year from the ECB and a little more from the IPL.

The £15 million is simply the prize money for the Fed Up Cup which is 3 event series called 'The Playoffs' at the end of the season.  It is not his prize winnings for the 2019 season which would be a lot lot more.

Personally the Fed Ex Cup I feel is a made up corporate load of sh*te with no history or interest for spectators.  Does anyone really care if they are playing for 5 million or 20 million?  I don't and I know a lot more don't.  They are all set for life anyway. What difference does it make to R.McIlroy to win 15 million?  He's got several hundred million already.

The only thing that matters in golf is the majors and the big warm up events for the majors that whet the appetite not the end of season newly created moneybag events.

Is there anything in life that is less appealing than seeing some rich person get richer?

Adding your name to history in the majors is the only thing that matters.

Apart from the majors the Players Championship is a decent event as are the traditional spring events in the lead up to The Masters such as Riviera, Bay Hill, Torrey Pines etc..

Tiger doing his stuff in Japan, 3 ahead with 4 to play, a win will equal the all-time record for most PGA tour wins.

The best golfer we’ll ever see in our lifetime.

He won’t win 18 majors but on every other stat he is better than everybody who has played the game.

In 07 he won 7 tournaments in a row
In 00 he won 6
In 08 he won 5

The most Jack managed was 3 (Rory also matched this).

Watching the US PGA , didn’t really notice no fans at the course.

Koepka going for 3 in a row and at the top of the leaderboard again.
Tiger also had a good day.
Rory not so good.

Brooks is amazing, his little digs at Bryson are great to watch.

So comfortable when it comes to the Majors.

Have him backed at 18/1 and Jason Day backed at 50/1 so a good start.

Where did you get 18/1?

Did EW on a few long shots Hatton, Lewis and Leishman

Got him at 18s last week when he went -4 under through first four holes, was raging as the week before I was going to do him at 22/1.

Yes I’ve Hatton backed at 50/1 too, poor performance today.

Should be a great final day (night time for us).

D Johnson in the lead on -9 but 12 players within 3 shots.
Koepka is just 2 off and Day, DeChambeau, Rose and Fleetwood are -6

Very exciting.
Sadly too late for me.
