What about Sean Raggett of Portsmouth ? My understanding is that he wants to play for Ireland and qualifies okay via family, not sure if paperwork has gone through ?

Almost 27 years old and has, aside from a couple of appearances in the Championship, spent his career at the lower levels.

With Clark back, Williams and Lenihan a similar age and proven at Championship level, Egan, Long and Duffy approaching their peak, and Collins and O'Shea already looking like players who could potentially reach 50+ caps, I don't see a route into Intl football for him.

On top of that, Sean Roughan is a decade younger and has already looked assured beyond his years for one of the division's best teams. They see him as a centre-back in the long term so that's another obstacle.

That's not to mention Warren O'Hora who has some of the best stats for CBs in the same division.

Clark and Long are the only players I've mentioned who are in their thirties, and they're still a good age for CBS, so we're in a pretty good position for defenders all across the back line. It's wide players we could do with progressing - on that note, I don't think Zack Elbouzedi has made a match day squad all season, disappointingly enough.

@Worms

I donโ€™t suppose there is a list of all/top Irish scorers this season?
