Hmm. OK, I stand corrected. Wasn’t really on a drinking holiday but ate out and had a couple of beers each night in a few Swiss cities the last time I was there and thought Berne was reasonable compared to Geneva which I thought was just insanely expensive. Certainly a bit more nightlife in Berne so may just be a case of shopping around.

Although having a few pints outdoors while watching the bears and that river valley and old town definitely earned Berne a few points in my book.

Nowhere in Switzerland is cheap, but Geneva and Zurich are on their own level of insanely expensive.

Direct trains from Frankfurt to all the potential venues except Geneva, afaik.

None of them should be more than €40 each way, and only Geneva is over four and a bit hours.

The train should be quicker than flying to anywhere bar Geneva, coming from Frankfurt.

yeah i stuck a note on my calendar to book the train when it comes online about 90 days before , should be cheap then.

Six months, I think. Used to be 90 days, now 180.

faaaaaaaaack LOL
The first time the Devil made me do it. The second time I did it on my own.

Unless the FAI can strike a 10% deal with the Swiss FA as they did with the Welsh FA for the WC18 qualifiers....

Geneva it is so, you would imagine they'll get an increase on the 5%.
Even if it is 5% that should be enough for everyone with a record to be sorted
