Maybe Scully from West Ham? We are already stacked with quality up front though

Is Scully still committed to Eire? I'd have him in ahead of Mandroiu but otherwise a really solid squad.
No way..Mandroiu has been quality all season for Bohs.

I think the EIRE OG beat the senior team in a vital Guinness Series Summer International match a few months ago

Italian squad looks strong, with a lot of their players, in contrast to us, having made a number of appearances at a good level in senior football. It's going to be tough.

Italy U21 Squad :

Goalkeepers: Marco Carnesecchi (Trapani), Mattia Del Favero (Piacenza), Alessandro Plizzari (Livorno);

Defenders: Claud Adjapong (Verona), Alessandro Bastoni (Inter), Enrico Delprato (Livorno), Matteo Gabbia (Milan), Riccardo Marchizza (Spezia), Luca Pellegrini (Cagliari), Luca Ranieri (Fiorentina), Marco Sala (Virtus Entella) ;

Midfielders: Marco Carraro (Perugia), Davide Frattesi (Empoli), Manuel Locatelli (Sassuolo), Giulio Maggiore (Spezia), Fabio Maistro (Salernitana), Sandro Tonali (Brescia), Niccolò Zanellato (Crotone);

Forwards: Patrick Cutrone (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Moise Kean (Everton), Andrea Pinamonti (Genoa), Gianluca Scamacca (Ascoli), Riccardo Sottil (Fiorentina).

Surprised that Thomas O'Connor hasn't been called up seeing as he's playing regularly at Gillingham and we're short on the left side of defence.

No sign of Luca Connell either.

Armstrong Oko-Flex and Ryan Johansson high profile names with no further clarification on their status.

How many of their players start week in week out for their club sides? Maybe 4/5, max. I actually thought the squad would be better being honest and I think we will beat them.

Especially considering our two centre halves have barely played a senior game.

perhaps Kenny with be tempted to go with Collins? would be a big call breaking up the Masterson/O’Shea partnership
