Would you stop. This time next year he'll be senior manager and someone else will have taken over. End of. Too much being made of success at under age level in general.

While it's great to qualify and do well at under age level, it's about player development, and if an age group gets fleeced of its best players by an age group senior to it ,then sorry about you. Tough titties. Surely, it should be seen as a positive if an 18-19 year old is capable of playing at 21's. I'm totally onboard with the idea of promoting players up the age groups, regardless of age but based purely on ability.

On the bright side it leaves room for another crop to replace them.

Any idea how they're gonna police that? I reckon this will be close to a sellout, do they assume only a certain % of season ticket holders turn up?

Usually you get an email don't you? Asking as a ST holder if you want a ticket which I would imagine would be a paper ticket?

I'd guess they'll send out an email saying that you have to login to your account and print off tickets rather than use your card on the day. They can then limit the number of tickets to 8,000.

It won't be anywhere near a sell out.

This will easily surpass 6000.
Given calibre of opposition, the buzz around the team, the unprecedented level of chat about tickets for an u21 game on here, and the attendance of over 4700 for Luxembourg game.
Also no home senior international that window.

Well, the other side of it is that a decent number of potential attendees will be in Georgia at the time. The vast majority of those who will be in Georgia are season ticket holders and the sort of season ticket holders who would go to the under 21 game if they were in Dublin.

There was a lot of talk and hype with the last game too and there was 3200.

Are the tickets sold out on Ticketmaster or where can you get them?

In fairness there was a round of LOI fixtures on that evening including Galway-Rovers in the cup. You could have gotten 4000-4500 if it was a standalone game, sunday afternoon like the Luxembourg one for instance.

When there is less that 6k at the next game, I'd expect more excuses.

It could be raining, it could be wet.

I don't know one single person who went to the last game for instance.

Married people are probably more glad of the evening out.

Marriage isn't the problem, it's kids. I don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
