Extremely disappointing to see a couple of the senior journalists on the international beat bat for Cathal Dervan on this - Philip Quinn and Paul Lennon. They are long enough in the game to be able to assess their sources.

Dervan has been an ambassador for Delaney and everything that is wrong with Irish football since being appointed in March 2019... Funny he was at the ‘fans forum’ with Delaney and McGlue in the Horseshow House in February but alas.

Paul Lennon and Philip Quinn should know better but they are friends with him undoubtedly. Two guys I had respected. Legacy journalists it seems. They should be coming out making full blown apologies...

Poor form that the sports editor for the Star, who has Coleman’s number couldn’t even contact him before publishing the article by Lennon.
That wont sell papers though... its much easier to run with BS and print a small almost unnoticeable clarification a week later.

But calling Kelly a low life rat is extremely unfair.
