looked the best of the norwich attackers so far.
feel for him though as the norwich midfield has all the steel of wet paper mache

Has had some good moments with his back to goal, either spinning West Hame players and playing it off or getting on the half turn. Looks like some of the Ireland games where he has been good in that role. Pukki hasn't done anything, on the other hand, beside him.

Norwich are so short of a midfield it's scary. McLean and Lees Melou are dreadful.

He was good tonight, unlucky with one shot pushed onto the post. He needs more game time for his development. There is a good player there

Consensus on Norwich Forum that Adam was easily Norwichs MOTM. They usually slate him so he must have done well. By all accounts he did really well for the chance that hit the post. Hope he didn't go off injured, BBC mbm suggests he might have done. Might get a run of games if not

Hopefully that wasn't an injury. He did fairly well and they have Everton and Watford next which are easier fixtures than West Ham away.

I'd have been one of the guys looking for him to get outta Norwich (shows what I know!) but seems like he did well tonight. Fingers crossed its not an injury that keeps him out, if he got a run of a few games, it would be great!

Didn't see any of the game but all sounds very positive, the only fear is that obviously Norwich still lost so will Smith stick with the same setup or twist again! Be good to see him get a run in this setup but a change of formation could see him shunted out wide, hopefully Smith saw enough that he sticks with it for a couple of games.

Tonight West Ham scores without a historically recognised striker. Given that Robinson, and Ogbene have been amongst the goals, while not playing as orthodox strikers, I wonder if SK might look at developing wider players for more central roles.

Is Antonio not a recognised striker? Maybe not prolific...

At WH he’s played in a number of position, including RB for a long spell under Bilic. After that we was a winger, and Moyes finally converted him into a striker. He did something similar with Arnautovic in 2017/2018, and has actually dropped and binned a number of orthodox strikers in the process.

Lovely footwork by Idah in the build up to his shot that Fabianski touched on to the post tonight - the hit was good too. Very unlucky, would have been the best Irish goal in the Premier League for a long time if it had gone in.

Unfortunately a sign of the times. In reality, I am struggling to see a great deal of reason why we wouldn't look to established striking options until these lads really progress. Idah, of all of them, would be closest to the first team, but he is still developing.

Problem is we don't have established striking options. Outside of Robinson and Ogbene who are already in the team, we have Shane Long, Aaron Connolly, Troy Parrott, Will Keane, James Collins, Seani Maguire, Ronan Curtis, Michael Obafemi and Scott Hogan Hard to make a strong argument for any of them starting up front for us (for now)
