The obsession with lower league loans, to sh*te bag teams, yeah worked out great for Parrott.

He should go to the Dutch or Belgian leagues.
Worked wonders for Jack Byrne and Dan Crowley

It worked okay for Jack Byrne got him a full season of football matches. He moved back to England then after. How the f**k is that proof of moving to Holland being a bad experience.

Dan Crowley likewise actually got gametime in Holland so how is that a case of it not working out for him? It went downhill when he moved back.

Josh Cullen moved to Anderlecht he’s doing fine there too has improved him as a player.

If your going to be a smartarse at least attempt to come up with actual good examples like Liam Kelly who despite it not working out for him still got a move to a club the size and tradition of Feyenoord.

Three players you mentioned there who had spells in Holland or Belgium, all were highly rated as youngsters none of which are good enough to start for our international side at the minute, and the jury is out on Cullen still tbh (one good performance in the last 3 or 4 games he's started recently)

Pretty good examples I would have thought

There are players currently in our starting 11 not good enough to start but somehow find themselves in the first 11.

Where players play is irrelevant. Is it complimenting their best attributes? And will they therefore be a better player from a physical and mental point of.view.when it comes to the national team.

Pretty much it and the point is the first two went downhill when they came back to England not when going to the continent.

Cullen has enhanced his reputation too. Of course the alternative is a good quality functioning League like Scotland’s let’s say but we are a mile off that yet if ever.

Only for injuries he would have made 30 appearances at least probably more competing with the best roster of attackers and specifically the best striker in the Championship.

He’d have no issue playing starting for plenty Championship teams next season especially ones that play 2 up top.

I’d agree I wouldn’t be one bit upset to see him go to one of the top promotion chasing League 1 clubs next season. He’s still only a pup and would still play every week.

On Norwich it does depend who they sign doesnt it as regards seeing gametime even off the bench.

I’m not as pushed on Idah going out on loan as I am Connolly Obafemi or Parrott for the simple reason I think Idah even if mostly off the bench would get more gametime at Norwich this season then those 3 would for their parent clubs.

However I don’t think there’s a prospect that would excite me as much as Idah going on loan and playing 35-40 games regularly for a Blackburn Barnsley QPR type club this season. Would be very interesting to see how he would develop and what sort of goal tally he might put together if he could get momentum early. I think he’s huge potential as a goalscorer for us long term.

Reports are they are going to loan him out this season to play regularly and keep Omobamidele.

i see fellow sub striker Jordan Hugill being linked with a Championship return to Nottm Forrest. Could see Idah hanging on at Norwich if that occurs and Norwich get a few bob for Hugill.

Looks like he is well placed to get a good bit of premier League minutes, you would imagine that a team like Norwich will find themselves a goal down with twenty minutes to go a good few times in the coming season and no better man than Adam Idah to come on.
time is the stuff that life is made of, don't waste it.

Linked where? I did a Google and can't find anything. I'd imagine they'd far prefer to swap Hugill or someone with a lower ceiling for Armstrong.
