Are you serious?

A 17 y.o. with 5 minutes Premier League experience, and that off the bench when Spurs were already 5-0 up at home to Burnley?

He'd do well to get regular game time in the Championship - the top teams don't need him and the bottom teams aren't likely to take a chance on a kid with that CV.

Which is no criticism of the lad - he's clearly an exceptional prospect - but come on, take the green-tinted specs off.

He would absolutely have gotten more game time at any other club that isn’t named Liverpool, Manchester City, or Tottenham. Arsenal have been playing 17 and 18 year olds. United have been playing Youth. Chelsea’s entire team is pretty much young kids. Wouldn’t be a regular starter but would have gotten more then 5 minutes.

there is no way he is getting any game time in that spurs team at the moment and the sh*t storm there in...needs a loan abroad in a decent league.

Agreed. Think people forget he's 17 years old. Stay, learn, take his chance when he gets it

What, up front? I mean, when Lacazette wasn't starting every game, do you honestly think TP would have?

Again, do you think OGS would have picked him ahead of Rashford and Martial, or even Greenwood (England U-21 international at 18)?

Only while the transfer ban lasted i.e. until y'day. And even then, when a World Cup winner like Giroud couldn't get a game, what makes you think TP would have?

Aye 10, maybe 15.

Centre Forward is the hardest and most important position in any team. Imo no PL team would trust a completely inexperienced kid like TP to the task, none.

What has Troy got left on his contract? 18 months I think someone mentioned before?

Mourinho on Parrott below. Could be sidelined next season if he doesn't extend his contract. Mourinho also said he is not a direct replacement for Kane.

"The next step for him is to sign a new contract at the club long-term and then it is for everyone to decide what is the best for his development.

Mourinho may be trying to take pressure off Parrott and limit comparisons with Kane.

I think he's already made massive progress this season and has exceeded expectations for this year.

Unless he's putting it on himself, there is no "pressure" on Parrott. (Fans' hopes and expectations don't count)

JM will have made it abundantly clear to the lad that even with Kane out, he cannot expect to get any meaningful 1st team (PL, CL etc)  action this season.

This will be part (a ) because he's not yet good enough; (b ) JM doesn't trust kids generally; (c ) JM's not got time to wait whilst TP develops into a 1st team player; and (d ) for a defensive coach, he's already fine for attacking players in Son, Moura and Dele, even Lamela. Hell, Sessegnon scored 16 goals for Fulham in the Championship in 2017/18 at the same age as TP.

He should move to the LOI now and save himself further disappointment down the line.

If he's not getting a few minutes in a 3rd round FA cup tie, then realistically Jose is only giving him game time when Spurs have a game done and dusted. This is Spurs. They look awful. Troy should go out on loan. Or at least insist  he gets under 23's game Time. Crazy stuff that he's not kicking a ball at all now.
