Starts today in their FA Cup game against League Two side Stevenage. Hopefully can grab a goal or two.

I had been saying in advance of this window that Troy should have been playing the 2 U 21 games vs Italy and Sweden. Good opposition, game time etc. and the U 21s are very short up front currently. It could have been sold to him as an opportunity to impress/play rather than a demotion.

Not "dropped", no. Misses out due to COVID or COVID protocols.

Parrott should definitely be with the 21s next time and he shouldn't see it as a slight. Players yoyo back and forth all the time for other countries. It would benefit both the player and the 21s team.
He's so young still that's he's eligible for the next U21 campaign as well.

I'm guessing at this stage he had it. As you say, surely negative PCR by now would of allowed him to return by now.

came on in the 90th min the other day, from their website match report- "Troy Parrott and Charlie Brown were given minutes off the bench late on
and the former almost had an instant impact but his low cross was just
out of Eisa’s reach."

It’s not great. Team scores 4 with him on the bench. If this loan goes south, Spurs might cut him loose. He has been overtaken by Scarlett and Mandarkay.

It's nuts. Seems like only yesterday he was a 17-year old prodigy. He's 20 in February. Time sure.does fly when all your promising underage strikers amount to very little.

Amount to very little? That's a fine write off. It appears that he's had some COVID and personal issues the last few weeks. Oh, and he is 19 still. Plenty time for him to get this loan right.

Yes I think you are correct Left foot. Of all the up and coming strikers we have, Parrott still seems to be the one to be most excited about. Connolly has had a terrible few months and Idah doesnt seem to be impressing the new Norwich manager either. Ferguson is a long way away from an international standard centre forward. Let's give him time!
