I've said it before but I get the impression that Sadlier likes to embellish things for attention. I've been wary of him ever since he wrote an article about his support of Rangers.

Pity he feels the need to do this but he's hardly going to get a book published on the back of what he did as a professional footballer.

But is anyone else concerned that Sadlier confirmed that the millwall coaches didn’t think he was up to mid table championship standard?

I know if was fairly obvious as millwall let him go, but brought it home a bit more hearing from sadlier what the millwall coaches said to him

Haven't seen the clip as I was watching on Sky, but it's not a huge shock that Millwall would have said that. He was miles off the pace at Championship level, that move came far too soon for him in hindsight. The hope with Parrott has always been what he might be capable of in a few years time, not where he is at now.

Was really pleased that he got the goals today. Obviously standard of opposition has to be taken into account, but hopefully it's a sign that he's developing and will do better on loan next season.

He didn't score for ipswich for a fair few games, he then got dropped from the ipswich squad altogether for a fair games.

When he came back for ipswich he scored and looked a better player for it.

I believe that learning experience for him gave him the bump he needed and likely played a massive part in his performance today.

Was really good to see him and idah up front today. We really need them to kick on.

Some people really have a horn for Irish players possibly going to those two leagues

I remember being delighted when I read that Chris McCann signed for Atalanta. Then I realised it was Atlanta he signed for.

In my defense I was only replying to someone suggesting that he go to these leagues I haven’t suggested off my own back in this case.

Delighted for him. Its not been an easy season, but if you extract it, he played over 30 games at senior club level, four at international level and scored four goals all in. On the whole if this is a springboard, it will be time well spent, and that first goal showed a touch of confidence and class at a point where we were scrambling. A cool head, at a young age.

Hopefully his next club move will benefit his longer term growth.

Giles is over the hill ffs. As for Dunphy during an Argentina game in the 2014 WC he kept referring to a Lorenzo. There was nobody of that name in the Argentinian squad LOL
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Giles is great but he struggles on radio now never mind live TV. Sadlier is awful, Duff is awful, the wans they do have on well they're all awful too, I actually don't mind Kevin Doyle but Roy Keane is the only great Irish pundit now, and he'd never lower himself to Irish TV.
